During a campaign rally held by the former President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the evening of July 13 around 6:15 p.m.,
a suspected shooter unleashed multiple shots towards the Shooting at Trump rally from an elevated position outside the venue. The swift response of the U.S. Secret Service led to the neutralization of the shooter, who is now deceased.
Former President Trump was kept safe thanks to the protective measures implemented by the Secret Service. Tragically, One spectator was killed, while two others sustained critical injuries. The incident is currently under investigation, with the Secret Service having informed the FBI about the situation.

The FBI identified the shooter as Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from Pennsylvania’s Bethel Park, according to US media. Crooks was named by the FBI “as the subject involved in the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump”.
