Morgan Wallen, a famous country Pop music singer, was arrested in Nashville after he reportedly threw a chair from the top of a bar on Broadway.
Wallen, who is 30 years old, was seen on the rooftop of Chief’s around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday. He picked up a chair, tossed it over the roof, and found it amusing. The bar’s rooftop is six stories above Broadway.
Police officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department were on the street below and mentioned that the chair landed just three feet away from them.
The arrest affidavit stated that officers spoke with bar staff and witnesses and reviewed security footage, confirming Wallen’s actions.
Morgan Wallen was charged with three felony counts early Monday morning in connection with an incident at Eric Church’s new honky tonk on Broadway.
Why did Morgan Wallen throw a chair off the roof?
Witnesses reported seeing the musician laughing after the incident, as stated by The Wrap. Authorities mentioned that Wallen threw the chair without a valid reason. Wallen’s lawyer, Worrick Robinson, emailed Vanity Fair a statement.
